Massachusetts blocks the sale of Rockwell's Art

After a Superior Court gave the Berkshire Museum the go-ahead to sell off the treasures of its public collection, the Massachusetts Appeals Court has issued an injunction to temporarily halt the sale.
Thanks, Attorney General Maura Healey for honoring Norman Rockwell's wishes.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention a while back in your post. I read this news yesterday and was so surprisingly pleased. Change can be an agent of creativity and we also want to balance that with a precious reserve of the past.

Great News! I read in one of the Berkshire Eagle articles that not only did Norman Rockwell donate the piece he also gave yearly donations of $100 to the museum. To sell his gift without first offering it to the Norman Rockwell Museum or others in the region is ridiculous!
