Always makes me smile to find the usual suspects on their shelves in the background- Spectrum, a few classical painter bios, some anatomy books and, of course, the Gurneys :)runningheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05058570753531696917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-65927136867450197972013-01-21T00:54:55.409-05:002013-01-21T00:54:55.409-05:00Let me try that without the typos! I must admit to having based all of my WColour education on reading your posts and studying your Youtube clips! I've scoured the blog for examples but this seems to be a blindsot. So many good ones on Oil or Drawing that I've read and that come up in lists time and time again. Having looked on various sites on the web the WColour ones seem hit and miss. It would be great to have a recommendation from yourself or from blog readers as to worthy examples.

Cheers - DanDan Haycockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09551426706917973787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-22180660642959794772013-01-20T14:21:25.996-05:002013-01-20T14:21:25.996-05:00A gender-neutral title could be "Sibliography...A gender-neutral title could be "Sibliography."

Matthewmdmattinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18215455490958117703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-44898496009456474742013-01-20T13:00:55.507-05:002013-01-20T13:00:55.507-05:00I did a retrospective of my bookshelf back in 2011...I did a retrospective of my bookshelf back in 2011 for my own blog. While I've added and subtracted since then since but its still a pretty good consensus on the kind of things I find inspiring, mostly comics with an illustrative flair and schools of illustration from an earlier time of the century.

http://erikjohnsonillustrator.blogspot.com/2011/10/whos-on-your-bookshelf.html

Erik Johnson Illustratorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11184274387021011687noreply@blogger.com
