The only outlier was the Shinhan Pass, which is a bit watery compared to the others. M. Graham is one of the best of the ones I've used. I haven't tried the pan gouache yet.James Gurneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01870848001990898499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-88052838593268610632018-03-26T12:18:03.013-04:002018-03-26T12:18:03.013-04:00Hi James as usual this is another very informative...Hi James as usual this is another very informative and inspiring video. I liked the use of pastel to shift the color so cool in spots ( might have to borrow that idea ;-) I had a question about gouache brands. After your gouache in the wild video it seems like you still are trying lots of different brands ( like in this video no tube is the same brand) are you finding differences at all? are there any you prefer or is any artist grade about the same. Also have you ever tried the Caran D'Ach pan gouache? Might be good topic for a future video? Thanks. You could spray it down beforehand or later with fixative, but it's not really necessary in a sketchbook. Try it out on a scrap and see how it works for you.James Gurneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01870848001990898499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-75499240518342981792018-03-25T12:33:15.458-04:002018-03-25T12:33:15.458-04:00Hi James, love your art.

Borrowing from Cartesian coordinates, X and Y are oriented on the two dimensional surface, and Z is perpendicular to it.
