They seem to go for extreme lighting and extreme views, so they are not good for reminding you of what you remembered or loved about the place, which usually has nothing to do with those things. These are more normal--nice.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11195527278285894012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-14057092900233717972010-11-09T11:36:55.259-05:002010-11-09T11:36:55.259-05:00Oh wow, that is a fun site. What a fun idea--and a real challenge.

I've taken part in Bill's Virtual Paintout, too, and it's great fun to find and paint one of the views from the monthly city.Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12576820565521582322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-9551523798627751792010-11-09T07:14:57.921-05:002010-11-09T07:14:57.921-05:00Hi James. Google told me that artists can use Street View images as references without fear of copyright infringement. I've actually sold several large Street View paintings to Google for their San Francisco and London offices. I also run a blog called the Virtual Paintout. You should check it out. This month is Rio. We should talk more about this subject.Billy Guffeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15630378626972553684noreply@blogger.com
