West Palm Beach

Here's a watercolor sketch painted on location a couple of nights ago in West Palm Beach, Florida.

For those in south Florida, I'll be giving a digital slide presentation at 3:00 p.m. today at the Norton Museum of Art, followed by a booksigning. Hope to see you there. Bring the kids and bring your books to be signed. The signing is at 4:00 (there will be books and a poster available there, too).

  6. Here is Arthur Hastings (the gentleman from Agatha Christie's classic Hercule Poirot tales). Perhaps it's just me, but I still think that there's a resemblance!

  7. We hope this wonderful art collection tours forever (so that you don't have to make room in your basement for it =:o). My grandson and I were delighted to finally meet you and your wife, and we wish you both a safe journey home.

  8. I can't believe I missed your book signing, in my own home town. D: I've been so disappointed that I wouldn't get to see you at AnthroCon this year. I would have asked you if you would sign my copy of Dinotopia. I've had it since childhood and your art has been such an influence on me.

Are you doing anything else in Florida by chance?

  9. Sorry to miss meeting you, Tiina, maybe another time!

And it was great to meet the rest of you. Rebecca, I think Mr. Hastings has a better hat than I do, but maybe he's a long lost relative.

  11. I can't believe that with all of the costumes you have, you don't have a good fedora in the mix! Shame on you! :p
