I met Mr. Baltazar at Spectrum Live in 2013 and got to hear a little bit about this project, it looks really, really amazing!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00193636559987656907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-76443212383483968942014-10-10T16:50:52.104-04:002014-10-10T16:50:52.104-04:00James, I came across Armand's booth at San Die...James, I came across Armand's booth at San Diego Comic-Con this year, and it was one of our favorite things we saw - even my non-artistic fiancé couldn't get over the beautiful paintings and the amazing ideas behind them. Armand wasn't at his booth at the time, so we left without further information on the project. What a delight to read about it here - thank you for this writeup!Gina Florio Soushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00860061435464635000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-22230832270377407992014-10-10T16:17:09.492-04:002014-10-10T16:17:09.492-04:00I love his work, and I was lucky enough to have a ...I love his work, and I was lucky enough to have a booth across from him at the first Spectrum Live show. I hope the series goes far, when he described it to me it sounded fascinating.Russell Dickersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12854569325129096817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-51218267124505449982014-10-10T15:14:53.143-04:002014-10-10T15:14:53.143-04:00Wow, this is all incredible. The influence of the giants of illustration and painting that Armand mentions is one of the big draws for me (as well as the irresistable time travel theme). I'm happy to see that those artistic influences do seem to be coming through.Tom Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04770238579550226268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2999230124118604245.post-47920048554508717092014-10-10T09:02:40.470-04:002014-10-10T09:02:40.470-04:00At first, the intended and forced switch from trad...At first, the intended and forced switch from traditional to digital painting seemed a bit like a let down. But getting a look at the end result, I must say, it is hard to spot a difference of what I had imagined in oil. Great job for keeping the feel.

...oh, but most important: The girl on the character picture looks like a young Scarlett Johansson... :)Paddy Schmidthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06713037641443293203noreply@blogger.com
