Painting a Complex Subject in Watercolor

(Link to You Tube) Painting in transparent watercolor requires careful planning, and that's especially true when there's perspective and lettering involved.

In this case I spent nearly one hour of the 2 hour session on the preliminary pencil drawing. After I was sure of that, the rest went pretty fast.

  1. A favorite paining from a couple of years ago, nice to see the video for it. It's a great study in watercolour process and planning.

Left some comments about water brushes on yesterday's post.

  2. With my daughter, son in law, and granddaughter living in Indianapolis, getting to this theater would be an easy day trip when visiting them. Thanks for putting it on my radar. I definitely want to check out "the mystic mystery of nightfall."

  3. A good statement must be easy to read. Spending time ordering your thoughts and connecting ideas is vital to the overall impact of the essay. Above all else, don't wait until the last minute to write the statement. sop writing services

  4. Palma Lee, to make your second statement easier to read, you might not want to start with such a long subordinate clause. I don't agree that it's wrong to save the statement until last. Final position has the most power. And here's my final thought, the most important thing above all else: stay on topic!
