ReplyDeleteDo you use the same brushes for your gouache that you use for your watercolors or do you keep separate sets of brushes for the two media? I have been hesitant to practice gouache because I'm nervous that they'll ruin my nice watercolor brushes in some way... :-/

ReplyDeleteIn the video I was initially surprised at how bright a blue you chose for the shadows. But looking at the result it worked well. Served to remind me that any given color is relative to the overall painting and a deeper blue or violet would not have worked as well with the snow.
