Dan at 8 Weeks

At 8 weeks, our son Dan was starting to look like himself. 


We really noticed how he looked unique when we compared him to other babies his age. 



Jeanette and I took turns holding him and sketching him (portrait is by Jeanette).

    Beautiful! I have twin boys who are 8 weeks old.

    I am dreaming of having time to paint or draw again! How did you and Jeanette manage to find time to develop as artists with a young family? Any tips for how to make the most of short stretches of "free" time in those early years? I suspect my art time will be in the evenings for the foreseeable future :)

    Such precious memories. I only had the confidence to do this with my last baby - I'm so glad I did.
