Taraxacum oficinale (dandelion) in various growth stages painted in gouache yesterday for the Plein-Air Invitational event at the New York Botanical Gardens.
My friend's wife moved here from another country and thought dandelions were such lovely flowers. She was a bit distraught to find they are considered weeds here.
