For those of you at the Book Expo in New York, tomorrow, Thursday May 27, I'll be signing posters for my upcoming book Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter at 11:00-11:30 at Table 18, and from 1:00 to 1:30 at Andrews McMeel Publishing, Booth #3559.

  1. James Gurney, the Pope, and Superman. That would make a good movie.

  2. Hi James,

Will you also be promoting the book this summer at the San Diego Comic Con? It would be great to meet you and get a signed book!

    maybe through Stuart Ng books?

    Thanks!

  4. I can't wait to see the book! You have always been a great inspiration in the area of color for me. You really know the science behind what is going on, and articulate it so well when we have talked. I can't imagine how wonderfully packed with great info this book will be!

  6. Thanks, N'Der,
Actually we hope to get finished copies a little early for the mini-book tour to California in October (Bay Area and LA). More on that once we firm up dates.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I've learned so much about color and light from y'all, and it will all be in this tome.
