Great puppetry on the part of those in the suits. The mannerisms are completely believable and there is a litheness to their motion that seems very natural. Well done!
That is absolutely fantastic. They move so realistically. I suppose it could even be used as an example of how real dinosaurs would have balanced themselves as they walked.
That is really cool. I was a little disappointed that I could see the actor's legs, but I still can't figure out how the rest of that puppet works. Very nice.
I'm pretty sure these ARE the puppets from Walking With Dinosaurs. If you haven't seen the show - SEE IT. I'm going for the second consecutive year next week.
found this a couple days ago through a friend of facebook. I would kill to get one of those costumes!

ReplyDeleteLove it. We're seeing more and more of these suits and I feel like each puppet is a little bit smoother.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about the scale of these guys - that red one is supposed to be a raptor the size of a Rex? :S

ReplyDeletefantastic! reminds me of the raptors from the live Walking with Dinosaurs show.
ReplyDeleteHey I wonder if that is one of 'ours', from Erth Visual and Physical?

ReplyDeleteVery amazing technology. Its a shame the effect was a little lost by seeing the human legs. Perhaps they can be sheathed in the costume in the future.
ReplyDeleteThose little boys were terrified and loving it at the same time!
