Cool idea. Did you make a physical mask for the study?
ReplyDeleteOh, no...I've been wanting to buy this one now, and this gives me a perfect excuse to do so. Sorely tempting.
ReplyDeleteI've always had a fascination with masks, and my love for dinosaurs and weird creatures (imaginary or otherwise) have always drawn me to masks of that nature.
ReplyDeleteIn 2008 I received an antique 'Hanuman' mask that was used as part of the Kohn theatre in Thailand. It has a very similar aesthetic to this one, with little bits of mirror and gold leaf etc. I remember always being drawn to this page in The World Beneath.
