Raptor Suit

The CGI visual effects for the movie Jurassic Park received a lot of attention, but the animatronics were equally groundbreaking.


(Link to video) In this archive video, one of the designers, John Rosengrant recalls how the people at Stan Winston Studios were able to build raptor suits around him and Mark 'Crash' McCreery.

    Hi, Mr. Gurney--

    Forgive me if you've answered this question in a previous post. I looked first but couldn't find...

    What tips can you give to my students about:

    1) getting books they've illustrated and self-published into book fairs, and
    2) general self-marketing ideas

    Also, what has worked for YOU? How did you make successful contacts with publisher, such as Andrews McMeel, Calla, and Harper Collins?
