Visiting an elementary school is such a clever and foresighted idea. They will remember you for a long time, I'm sure. You may have "lit a spark" in those young and powerful minds.
I think it's great that you give these young kids a nice time, even if you don't really need that for you career (except maybe if you're thinking like twenty years ahead of course ;-) ).
i hope the kids were a good audience. i bet they enjoyed it!
