I can just imagine what a "James Gurney Hang Gliding/Sketching Tutorial" would sound like: "When I sketch and hang glide, I like to build my own hang glider. I start with a wire armature airframe, stitch the wing out of bed sheets, then fashion the harness out of old leather belts. My water cup and palette are attached to the struts with magnets. The whole thing, which can stay aloft for 2 hours and cover more than 500 miles, took me about an hour to build and cost me less than $10." :)
Jim Douglas that was perfect! I was laughing the whole time reading your delightful comment! But, I think you may have given him an idea that will perhaps be the next video! Mr. Gurney is quite the Renaissance man. I do believe he could actually pull it off!
Hey, Jim, how did you find the script to my next video? I'm not sure whether to call it "Do It Yourself Adventure Sketching on the Cheap" or "Extreme Gonzo Art in the Wild."
I bet that guy would be a pretty good unicycle painter.

ReplyDeleteA fabulous place.
ReplyDeleteJim Douglas - that was perfect. Sounded just like a James Gurney narrative.
