How Microdroplets Travel from Coughs, Sneezes, and Talking


A lab in Japan with sensitive cameras and simulations shows how we inadvertently generate virus-filled microdroplets and how they remain suspended for a remarkably long time in indoor spaces without proper ventilation.

  3. So even not putting your face into your arm when you sneeze or cough in your enclosed, studio could keep any virus going on right?

    The last time i put my head into my right arm with a sneeze coming on while painting, i almost took my eye out with my paint bush !
    .. something to keep in the back of your mind, before heading down to your arm!

    James ... do you war a mask in your studio? ... If you airbrush it is a good idea, but drawing or painting with pencils or brushes is it neccesary if you are by yourself all day?
