This new YouTube video takes you along on an unusual painting technique and some thoughts about what would happen if we could live our days in reverse order. Watch the 18-min video on YouTube at this link.
This is wonderful - the philosophy, the technique, the introduction of a fascinating tool...everything was so encouraging and soothing and challenging at the same time. Thank you.
This is Lynnwwod:)That was so cool and interesting James, and I loved the particular way you unfolded the story of what you were doing! The way it looked had a shock of recognition for me because of the black and white oil studies on brown paper that I did 40 years ago while studying from "The Natural Way to Draw" and encouraging because I've lately been experimenting with ink and wash, black and white chalk and gouache on that Canson paper, inspired by artists like Jean-Baptiste Greuze!
Just like Merlin!!(This is Lynnwwod...it will probably show up as "unknown" again)
ReplyDeleteloved watching technique. your description of what and why were very succinct and informative
