I was reading your Color and Light the other day, when it came to contre jour lighting, you said "the colors lose saturation, and shadows stretch forward". Why does the colors lose their saturation in contre jour lighting, Mr. Gurney? Is it because of exposure? (just my guess). Thank you!!!
