"Trust old Crabb," says Lee as they approach Black Fish Tavern by the light of the moon.
Oriana proves herself to be a valuable member of the expedition. Producer Tom Lopez had fun elaborating the colorful characters.
The Podcast Series

The Christian Science Monitor called this production "A dazzling soundscape that does full justice to Gurney’s wondrous lost world… perfect family listening.”

Many of these paintings are now on view at the Dinotopia exhibition at the Stamford Art Museum and Nature Center through May 25. I'll be in attendance at events on Feb. 28 and March 1. Another word about the GJ sketchgroup! Jared found a diner near the museum grounds with breakfast food. On Sunday we'll probably either sketch near the train station first then head over, or go to the diner, get food and sketch there. Either way, we're planning to get the day started around 9 to 9.30ish, as long as the trains don't get delayed by unexpected weather (fingers crossed).
ReplyDeleteWe will continue to leave comments on the blog with updates. You can also email Jared or me at jessica[*]jessicayang.org and we'll add you to the discussion thread.
Hey, Jessica,
ReplyDeleteThanks, and please keep me posted about your diner plans in case I need to pass on the info to other folks who ask.
Hey- thanks for posting about it! and thanks for updating, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteI'll make a blog post on my site with details and my cell number and email are all on there as well... but here's the plan:
We'll catch up for a sketch session at a place called 'Uncles Deli' between 9-9:30am. I'll have extra drawing supplies and since this was brought on by a brand question I'll have 3 watercolor sets and extra paper if people want to try them, they're welcome to them. (Schmincke, Sennelier and Holbein)
We'll catch up, sketch, get some breakfast and then it's a 5min walk (via googlemaps)to the Museum and nature center. After 11 we can all walk over and check out the exhibition before the workshop begins.
Hi Mr Gurney,
ReplyDeleteI missed the episode last week because of school work, but I really want to hear it! I love your series so much! Will you ever put them up again? I've only ever missed episode 3! Please could you put it up for me? Just for a day?
Thanks
Annie
