Mønsted's Open Landscapes
Peder Mork Mønsted is best known for his scenes of forest streams, so it's interesting to see what he does with open fields.

Do you think he used photo reference? I wonder if photos from that time would have been detailed enough... and I suppose for colour he would be working from life or going by memory. Look at the variety of greens! Amazing.
