Olana, the home of landscape painter Frederic Church has installed a live skycam on its tower. Called "Olana Eye," it lets anyone stream the famous view of the Hudson River at any hour and in any weather.

Stunning view. Very good to know, thanks!
Am grateful I was finally able to visit Olana last October, after first hearing about it in 1969 while sitting in a University of Michigan History of Art class, taught by David Huntington. Prof. Huntington was passionate about Frederic Church and Olana. He spearheaded the effort to "save" Olana when its future was precarious.
Thank you for the eye link. Amazing...
I am delighted to have found your blog. Do you have any videos for sale that show the basics of painting with Gouache?
Thank you, Denise
