"Pixels," a video by Patrick Jean, shows the world attacked by 80s-style video game monsters who reduce everything to low-resolution.
Notice the verite camera moves and the understated soundtrack.
If the video seems cropped, click twice on it and it will send you over to the video on YouTube. Best of YouTube

So cool! I always wondered where PacMan went.
Technically they're voxels though... :)
Thanks for posting that. It was wonderful!! :-)
Pretty amazing job on that film. I would like to see the storyboards on that one.
You know that you're getting old when:
things you remember from your youth come back in style again.
The Tetris pieces on the buildings...that's not too far from the drifting-off-to-sleep visions I had of Tetris at the height of my addiction back in the day!
Genius video!
Actually, I just saw a video I think you might find lovely: a remote controlled airship that literally seems to swim through the air.

butt...I like Pixels too! I saw this clip earlier, it' like "District 9" in Lego version!
I absolutely love this! Someone went to a lot of trouble to create this Pixelgeddon!
