Doodlewash has published an article about how I got started and where I get my inspiration.

I love this piece's atmospheric light :-)

Question: What is your opinion on signing your work? Should artists sign with their full name, like you? If an artist signs with a "symbol" (I do) should they also include their full name on the back on the piece? What are some resources to learn about protocol for signatures on artwork in the art world?

You've posted this piece before: Glad to revisit - I love it so much.
A truly inspired piece, in my view.

A very nice article - you got loads of interesting details into a small piece without any feeling of crowding info to fit - not unlike all the detail in your Dinotopia paintings! I've followed your blog for quite a while, but I post watercolor sketches on Doodlewash quite often and it was a nice surprise to "see" you there :)

Thanks for sharing it:i really love your way to tell stories! your illustrations are full of spirit of adventure and your life was adventurous too! Now two of my artistic heroes spent their young years in graveyards (the other one is Alan Lee), this can't be a coincidence, ah ah! I always always said that graveyards are inspiring places, i knew i was right!
