What a beautiful assured drawing!
I drew my children endlessly when they were young but then they started pulling silly faces as they got older. Now their children do the same so I have to pretend I'm drawing something else. You've captured the absorption of your boy perfectly.
It's great to see such a candid moment captured in sketch like this.
