Viscous Forms Melting in CGI

There's something mesmerizing about watching little dragons made of semi-viscous cookie batter falling helplessly into heaps and melting into each other. (Link to YouTube)

I must admit, I complain about videos with horrid music…. but this one was so odd being completely silent. I think it would be really compelling with some 'plop'… squishy, splash noises in the sound track. Coming soon to a Doctor Who TV show I suppose.

Reminded me of this short film about melting a chocolate bunny.

The physics are built in, that's the thing about CGI is the dynamics are set up and as they say in their industry, the results are "free" meaning the animator didn't do it, it was driven by the dynamics.
