Fascinating. I was able to walk through Warner Brothers Animation one day in the 90's watching characters pencilled and backgrounds being painted for "The Pagemaster." Cel animation hadn't changed much over the roughly 60 years after this film was made. What a great tradition, and what a great contrast with todays digital animation.

Interesting to see lots of women, and not just in the ink-and-paint department.
