Dinotopia enthusiast Glenn Ludgate of Australia has been working for a while now on a whole fleet of Dinotopian strutters.
These maquettes are all scratch built, and are based on the biologically based vehicles that appear in Dinotopia: The World Beneath.
Go Glenn!
Many of my own original reference maquettes will be exhibited at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum show, which opens September 22.

That is really cool! What ingenuity! I wish I had a set of those. :)
Impressive!
Very impressive!
Oh wow, that's officially the most awesome thing ever. Besides the original illustrations, of course.
Nice, and by an Aussie too!
Reminds me of the Zoids models I use to buy. It'd be pretty cool if they were motorized like my good ol' saber fang and blade liger.
Are these made out of sheets of plastic that are cut with a hot knife or bent to shape after being slightly heated? Curious because that's what they look like and would be the most durable. I would love to try my hand at doing something like this.
That would be an amazing collection!
