Yup, it's that kind of morning.
I doodled this character in a diner, where I wrote down the dialog that I heard. The character was inspired by the work of the cartoonist Charles Saxon.

This is such a great book! Saxon was an amazing cartoonist, and a superb draftsman. This is particularly evident in his backgrounds.
